Amapiano star Lady Du and Reign Racks featured on a billboard in New York Times Square as their hit song “Si Happy” gained international recognition.
Amapiano is blowing up all over the world, and we are thrilled to see how far our faves have come. Lady Du recently announced that her collaboration with Megadrumz titled “Tjina” had garnered 10 million views on TikTok.
The star has gained more recognition as she was featured on a billboard in New York Times Square with Reign Racks & DJ NFT for their collaboration “Si Happy.”
Reacting to it, Reign Racks wrote, “New York Times Square. I have no words @deejay_nft @ladydu_sa Thank you so much.” He opened up to Briefly about it, saying,
“I was super excited when I received the news that we’re going to appear on the Times Square Billboard. It’s really a dream come true. I’ve always had dreams of achieving this and to be featured on such a prominent platform all the way in New York City is an honour.”
He revealed that the song took 30 minutes to complete.
“The song is a collaborative effort between myself, Lady Du, DJ NFT & T-Man SA. We each added different elements to the song. Lady Du and I added to the song vocally. T-Man SA & DJ NFT on the Instrumental. We literally made the song in less than 30 minutes,” he said.
