“Special” singer Lizzo calls harassment allegations by her former dancers “false.”
US Pop Star, Lizzo has been on everyone’s lips since the singer was sued by three of her ex-dancers. They claim the singer was abusive towards them and also presented a hostile workplace. She’s also been accused of hostile and racial harassment. Also, false imprisonment and assault are listed in the suit.
Taking to social media, Lizzo refuted the claims in a lengthy statement on her official page. She wrote, “These last few days have been gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing. My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized,”
She said she’s “not here to be looked at as a victim”, but she knows shes “not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days.” She also stated clearly “I am very open with my sexuality and expressing myself but I cannot accept or allow people to use that openness to make me out to be something I am not.”
