Mabala Noise rebrands, drops all signed artists except the award-winning Zakwe.
Like some would say, it isn’t a bad thing to evaluate one’s losses and start over. We hear it makes people, and organisations do even better.
Controversial record label, Mabala Noise once had some of Mzansi’s best artists under their roof but we can’t say the same for them now. Nasty C, PRO, Gigi Lamayne, and Major League Djz were once signed to the label but have all left.
Now, Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela has revealed that they’re rebranding in an effort “to start over on a clean slate”
We hear the label has dropped all of its artists except award-winning rapper, Zakwe who is currently working on his new album. They have also been revealed to have signed two new artists and changed their official logo.
ANC Youth League treasurer and Mabala Noise founder, Reggie Nkabinde was previously rumoured to have paid artists no less than R5million to sign to the label and perform at ANC rallies. The rumour was started by EFF leader, Julius Malema years back. Hopefully, the new move works out for them.
