Podcast hosts MacG and Sol Phenduka recently played host to former ANC chieftain Ace Magashule, who recently ditched the party over political differences to found a party of his own, ACT (African Congress for Transformation).
Never known to mince words when it comes to their podcast, MacG and Sol Phenduka shared their thoughts about the politician after the interview, noting that he was unimpressive – really lacklustre – in his responses during the interview.
MacG’s Podcast and Chill thrives in explosives interviews and exuberant guests who are prepared to bare it on and even throw axes into a controversial topic. It turned out Ace Magashule, for all his diatribes against the ANC, did not come with the fire his interviewers expected.
Beyond that, Sol Phenduka felt that Ace was lying in some of his responses. He even irreverently referenced when the politician almost fell asleep.
The clip of his take on the politician surfaced online and divided netizens, with some stating that he and MacG should have shown har shown their disapproval in a proper way and not come off as insulting to the person they were interviewing. You can check out the clip below.
