Samantha Markle has called out her half-sister Meghan and her husband Prince Harry over the reaction to the “South Park” roast. She believes it is nothing more than a comedy and that the couple were taking things too seriously.
Samantha shared her thoughts during an appearance on GB News, she described the parody as a cartoon and that the couple should have known this and not reacted the way they did – taking the parody too seriously.
The recent episode of the show, titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour,” which had cartoon similarities of the Prince and Princess of Sussex, referenced the couple the “dumb Prince” and his “stupid wife.” She insisted that the couple can’t claim copyright on “likeness.”
Since renouncing their royal duties, Meghan and Harry have been sporadically in the news, sharing their stories and giving many royal buffs something to chew on.
About the latest hit series, the couple is said to have been unimpressed with it, especially as the characters bear similarities to them. Would their objection stop producers from referencing them, one way or the other, from their creative offerings? That remains to be seen. For now, at least, Samantha has made her thoughts clear to her half-sister and husband.
