Mzansi is divided over A-Reece’s win at the Metro FM Music Awards over Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C.
We cannot ignore the fact that A-Reece has been consistent with releases since last year. The star has not only dropped laudable jams, but given fans great shows. His moves were capped with a Metro FM Music Awards nomination for “Best Hip-Hop” for the joint “Ving Rhames.”
At the awards show on Saturday, the song won over other nominated tracks including “Prosper in Peace” by Nasty C ft Benny The Butcher, “018” by Cassper Nyovest ft Maglera Doe Boy, “Khuliyano” by Khuli Chana and “Solo” by DA LES ft. Manu World Star, Gemini Major, & NAVIO.
While Reece’s fans were thrilled about this, fans of Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest did not believe he deserved it. Some wondered if the award show tagged the wrong handle, therefore announcing the wrong winner.
@PromigoLucadow reacted, “We don’t even know the song ! Metro I’m doing these remarks without any fear of contradiction. @asspernyovest deserves That award.”
