South African media personality Tbo Touch was in Zimbabwe recently, where he met the country’s president Emmerson Mnangagwa. He thought the meeting was significant enough to share it on social media.
Taking to his verified Instagram page, the media personality and entrepreneur shared a picture of him and the Zimbabwean president in a warm handshake. In the caption to the post, he noted that it was his first trip to Zimbabwe and he was honoured to meet the country’s president.
He ended up noting that he is looking forward to exploring the beauties of the country. It was to have been just another post by the popular media personality, only, most South Africans and Zimbabweans themselves are unimpressed with the performance of the president and believe Tbo Touch shouldn’t have met him.

Despite Zimbabwe no longer being under the grip of the Mugabe family, the country is still struggling mightily, plagued by corruption from every angle. And it turned out Zimbabweans are not exactly happy with the government of Emmerson Mnangagwa, which they believe has not done much to better the lot of the people.
