Podcast & Chill: DJ Fresh Reveals Ntsiki Mazwai Paid R200K After Losing Defamation Case

When it was announced that Dj Fresh would step in for MacG on the set of Podcast and Chill, South Africans were excited. For one, the veteran DJ is as controversial as MacG himself, and fans were excited about what he would bring to the table.

And DJ Fresh didn’t disappoint actually. When he showed up for the set, he gave Mzansi a lot to chew on. Of particular interest was his revelation on the set that South African poet and anti-GBV advocate had paid him the sum of R200k as ordered by the court.

Ntsiki had back in 2021 accused DJ Fresh of molesting some women. She had made the accusation in the light of the “me too” movement which was at its peak at the time, with DJ Fresh facing rape allegations alongside his pal DJ Euphonik.

DJ Fresh had taken Ntsiki Mazwai to court for her unfounded claims against him. He had won the case and Ntsiki Mazwai was compelled by the court to pay the sum of R200k to take care of his legal feels.

While some tweeps had defended Ntsiki Mazwai at the time. Others had condemned her. But DJ Fresh appeared to have carried the day with his court victory.
