Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Preview Fetches $16 Million

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse got off to a good start at the box office preview. That was a pretty impressive figure for an animated flick, a reality that wasn’t lost on industry buffs.

With that number, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse now occupies the second position on the list of animated movies with the best preview nights. Disney/Pixar’s Incredibles 2 is the king of the table, with a total night preview bag of $18.5 million.

With its current position as the number two in terms of earnings on preview night, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse now sits just ahead of Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 4, which sits in third position with $12 million.

While it has not done badly in its preview, it is unclear at this point exactly how Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse would bring on official release around the world. But then. If its current numbers could serve as a clue, then fans should expect this animation flick, which has been described as one of the longest-running ever, to fetch a big bag for its producers.

Until then, fans are watching to see how things pan out. And, of course, other producers are motivated to delve into the same area. Stay tuned if you please.
