Famous comedian and podcast host Trevor Noah says he once worked as a comedian while talking about the jobs he has had.
Trevor Noah is one of the world’s most famous comedians. However, the star says he was once like a regular 9 to 5 worker before fame. While speaking with his friends Sizwe Dhlomo and Anele Mdoda on the “What Now? With Trevor Noah” podcast, he defended their criticism of him never having any work before fame.
They accused him of always chilling at home every time they called him. But Trevor defended himself and said he had had several jobs before fame. According to him, he once worked at a video game and was in charge of converting gamers’ moneys into tokens.
He said he also worked for his mother, reading the electricity meters for her business back in South Africa. Noah spoke very highly of the job, saying his involvement in the family business was significant and that without him, they couldn’t know how much electricity was used every month.
Next, Trevor said he worked as a taxi driver for a year. Unfortunately, Mdoda and Dhlomo did not take him seriously. They still maintained that he never had a real job.
