Youtuber Slick Goku Is Dead

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of popular YouTube animator, Slick Goku (real name Reggie Groover) on Friday. The cause of death has been reported as a severe seizure. Slick Goku was best known for creating short animations, and had amassed over 269,000 YouTube followers and more than 43 million views on his channel.

Reggie’s mother, Janice Gore, shared a heartfelt tribute to her son, describing him as a “creative soul” who “enjoyed living life to the fullest.” She went on to say that “anywhere Reggie would go he would make friends,” and that he was “a dependable man who is dedicated to improving himself.”

In addition to his love of animation, Reggie was also an active individual who enjoyed running, swimming, and skateboarding. He also had a fondness for juice, and had learned many life lessons from his grandfather when they would go fishing together.

The news of Slick Goku’s passing has been met with an outpouring of love and support from his friends, family, and fans. A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for his funeral and has already surpassed its goal of $20,000.

Reggie’s friend, JB Coleman, shared that “Reggie was the best friend you could ever ask for” and that “we had known the other for only seven years but honestly, it felt more like a lifetime.”

Slick Goku’s death is a loss to not only his family and friends, but also to the online community who enjoyed his animations. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.
