Zimbabwean gospel musician Janet Manyowa returns to UbeToo with a new Christian tune titled “Makafanira.” Translated from the Shona, it means “You deserve it.” An interesting title.
The song is just as interesting, if you please. It is the follow-up to her “Tariro” track of July this year. If you’re not familiar with the song, you might want to check it out here. It’s as engaging as the current number, by the way.
“Makafanira” is a fine number that should edify the body of Christ. So if you’re into Christian songs – or gospel music, if you please – you should make time to check out this number. It’s got great weight in spiritual energy – a song of power.
Janet Manyowa, who turned 35 in March, discovered her musical gifts quiet early. Fortunately, she had parents who also noticed her musical inclinations early and supported her. At the age of ten, she was sent to musical school, where she polished her skills.
The results are glaring: several fine numbers to her name, including, of course, the song in review. Wouldn’t you rather vibe with her latest jam and keep your eyes open for more numbers from her? That’s the way to go, people. Say “Makafanira”!
