Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” Album Cover Sparks Frenzy On Social Media

Beyoncé’s cover art for “Cowboy Carter” album has sparked frenzy on social media.

The Queen Bey has shaken the internet with the release of the cover art for her forthcoming album “Cowboy Carter.” The star says the album was born following an incident when she did not feel welcomed. She writes,

“But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive. The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me.”

On Wednesday, she released the album cover art. People writes that, in it, “Beyoncé is nude with just a sash hanging across her chest and hips. The sash reads, ‘Act II Beyoncé,’ on a white piece of fabric with both blue and red hems.”

The singer’s hair is braided, with red and white beads at the ends of her bangs. She poses in a manner that resembles the stance of the Statue of Liberty and holds a lit cigar. The art got a reaction from singer Erykah Badu (known for the braided hair look) who wrote, “hmmm.”

After getting criticized, she returned and wrote, “To Jay Z . Say somethin Jay. You gone let this woman and these bees do this to me ?? 😆.”
