Creators keep ownership of their work. UBETOO needs a limited operating license, not a transfer of copyright.

What an uploader must control

Before upload, confirm authority for the sound recording, underlying composition, lyrics, performances, featured artists, producer work, samples, artwork, photography, names and likenesses, territories, release timing, and any download license. Label or distributor authority does not automatically include publishing rights.

Credits and metadata

List contributors and roles accurately. Do not remove a writer, producer, featured artist, label, or publisher to avoid an obligation. Version names such as remix, instrumental, acoustic, live, and radio edit must describe the actual recording.

Disputes

Contract, split, and ownership disputes are fact-specific. UBETOO may pause publication or downloads while requesting agreements, registrations, licenses, source files, release authorizations, or identity evidence. The platform does not adjudicate private contracts, but it can restrict content while legal rights are unclear.

Copyright notices

Rights holders may submit a complete notice through the copyright workflow. Affected uploaders may be contacted and, where legally available, can submit a counter-notice. Fraudulent notices or counter-notices can create legal liability.

Downloads and licensing

A visible download option must state its license terms. No download button means no download permission. Attribution, commercial use, modification, territory, format, and limits are governed by the displayed option and any separate agreement.
