Effective August 2, 2026
UBETOO is for serious listening and constructive participation. Criticism is welcome; dehumanization, intimidation, and manipulation are not.
Respect people
Do not threaten, stalk, sexually harass, dox, encourage self-harm, or organize abuse. Do not attack people based on protected characteristics. Context matters in lyrics and editorial work, but artistic context is not a blanket defense for targeted abuse.
Protect minors and vulnerable people
Sexual exploitation, grooming, non-consensual intimate material, credible trafficking, and content that endangers a minor are prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Be authentic
Do not impersonate another person or organization, fabricate verification, coordinate fake engagement, buy or automate plays, mass-post unsolicited promotion, or conceal commercial promotion where disclosure is required.
Publish only what you can stand behind
Credit contributors accurately, label explicit material, describe samples and versions honestly, and do not upload stolen masters, artwork, lyrics, or misleading metadata. Disagreements about splits or contracts may require evidence and can result in temporary restriction while reviewed.
Keep it lawful and safe
Malware, fraud, unlawful sales, credible violent threats, terrorist recruitment, and instructions intended to facilitate serious harm are prohibited. Legal discussion, journalism, education, and documentary context are assessed carefully rather than by keyword alone.
Enforcement
Responses can include warnings, labels, reduced visibility, comment removal, upload rejection, takedown, feature limits, suspension, or termination. Severity, context, history, intent, and risk inform the decision. Use the report form for policy concerns and the copyright form for formal rights notices.
