The nominees’ list for the 2021 South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) is out, and Inkabi Records boss Big Zulu appears to be the big winner on the list -with 10 nominations.
Three of the musos songs were nominated for the Song of the Year category, and another three were nominated for the Best Collabo category. Other categories he’s nominated for include Best Video, MVP, Best Male, and Album of the Year.
Already, though, he’s been crowned winner of the Ubuntu Activism category.
A delighted Big Zulu had shared the news of his SAHHA success on his verified Instagram page, thanking his fans – or Inkabi Nation, as they are called – for their support so far.
With 10 nominations for this year’s SAHHA, Big Zulu trumps every other nominee for the award. The number also strengthens his chances of at least taking home one of the awards.
It’s interesting to note that Big Zulu’s “Mali Eningi,” one of the biggest songs of 2020, had earned him two nominations for this year’s SAHHA.
