Blaq Diamond's Umuthi Album makes No 1 debut

Blaq Diamond’s sophomore album, Umuthi debuts at number one on the iTunes South Africa Top 100 Albums chart. The Ambitiouz Entertainment signed duo records a new milestone.

There is no bigger news for an artiste, group or duo than the feedback that there has been a massive demand for their newly released music. That surely is translated to mean “you’ve done an incredible job”. Of course every artiste wishes to hear this everytime.

Signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment, Blaq Diamond recently released their second studio album over the weekend, and it has been a hit ever since. The album tagged “Umuthi” debuted comfortably at number one on the iTunes South Africa Top 100 Albums chart. A feat not many artistes can boast of.

The album has since dropped to number three with Lil Wayne’s Funeral album taking it’s place while Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa’s “Scorpion Kings Live At Sun Arena 11 April 2020” sits tight at the top of the chart. See top 5 albums on the chart below:
