Cape Town International Jazz Festival Will Proceed As Scheduled Despite Artists Canceling For Fears Of Corona Virus

The Cape Town International Jazz festival will still be holding amidst artiste withdrawing from the festival, due to the Coronavirus scare.

Recently Abdullah Ibrahim who is listed to perform at the festival withdrew and had fans wondering if the event was still going to hold. The organizers have come out to say the artist withdrew due to concerns of traveling has the virus scare is on a high note. The organizers  stated that the event will still be holding as planned on the 27th and 28th of march 2020 and will be announcing a suitable replacement for the artiste as soon as possible.

The festival organizers are also working with some respective health bodies  like the Western Cape department of health, Wesgro and Cape Town tourism, ensuring people that no restriction as been issued due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The organizers of the festival recently black listed Sjava due to the rape allegations leveled on him by Lady Zamar
