The Tiny Desk Concert played host to Usher days ago, and the songster wowed those who tuned in with his performance. However, given the title of one of the songs he performed, some fans said it was a confession moment for the songster.
The Tiny Deck Concert series brings good music to people right where they are in their homes. Usher’s performance is significant, though, because it was held at the physical tiny desk, one of the first times it would hold there following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
For his set, Usher was joined by his band as he performed some of his memorable numbers. Dressed in an all-black outfit, Usher started with a reworked version of “You Make Me Wanna …” he went on to croon “Superstar”, “U Don’t Have to Call”, “Nice & Slow”, “Confessions Part II”, and “My Way”.
The rendition of “Confessions Part II” appeared to be of greater interest for most of those who followed the performance. Almost everyone ended up talking about the singer’s confessions like he owned up to something shameful. Lol.
By the way, the Tiny Desk Concert celebrates Black Music Month, an occasion that illuminates the contributions of black voices to the world’s music space.
