DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small captured the attention of South Africa a long time ago and have been winning with their music. Collectively known as the Piano Kings in reference to a similarly titled project, the pair has announced their projects have gone multi-platinum.
The two have worked on several projects previously, including “Scorpion Kings” EP, “Paino Hub” EP and “Scoprion Kings Live” album. These works have all earned platinum certifications.
DJ Maphorisa specifically broke the news on Twitter, saying he didn’t want to speak about this career win initially, which was too good to be true, but… [put expletive here] . He thanked his fans for their support. You can check out his post and platinum plaques below.
This multi-platinum revelation follows DJ Maphorisa’s tweet he might soon resume his Scorpion kings Live session with Kabza De Small whom he calls his boy.
By the way, DJ Maphorisa recently expressed confusion over lockdown. He had no idea if it was still in force. Well, his compatriots told him it was, and that the President Cyril Ramaphosa was going to address the nation. The address was good news for the entertainment industry, as it informed all of the imminence of level one in lockdown. The country was in level two.
