Mase Now Pastor of Atlanta’s Gathering Oasis Church

Hip Hop star, Mase now pastor of Atlanta’s Gathering Oasis Church.

Yes, you read that right. American Hip Hop star, Mason “Mase” Betha has returned to church, and has also been named the new pastor of Atlanta’s Gathering Oasis Church. The announcement was made via the church’s Twitter page.

For years now, fans have known that the former Hip Hop star has been in pursuit of a calling from God. Back in 1999, news broke that Mase had quit music to focus on serving God. He then became an ordained minister and also continued his studies at Clark Atlanta University. However, that only lasted for 5 years, after which he returned to the Hip Hop scene with the release of his comeback album “Welcome Back”.

At the time, he also joined 50 Cent’s famous G-Unit label. However, he’s found a way to do both. While still focusing on his calling, he also dropped music. Back in 2017, he dropped the Cam’ron diss track, “The Oracle” which gained some attention.

His recent announcement as the new pastor of Atlanta’s Gathering Oasis Church obviously means that he’s finally ready to embrace his calling in full. The new position was first announced during a Live YouTube interview with the rapper.
