“My Yoki Yoki” Singer Vhudi Kicked Out Of Idols SA Competition

“My Yoki Yoki” singer Vhudi has been booted out of reality television show Idols SA. The songster had captured the attention of many with his song “My Yoki Yoki” when he auditioned for the show in Johannesburg.

In fact, such was the appeal of the song that Vhudi became a hit in South Africa virtually overnight. Nigerian singer Davido even asked the champ to reach out to him via DM.

Well, Vhudi is no longer on the show. Some fans are saying the show’s judges had to boot him out because he had just signed a new contract.

While some fans feel bad about Vhudi’s removal from the show, others are pleased he is out because, according to them, the contract he would have been made to sign after the show would have limited his career as a musician.

Given the hype surrounding his “Yoki Yoki” song and the interest he has generated as a person, Vhudi might yet be on his way to a sterling musical career.

His case might be similar to that of the Qwabe twins. Although both quit the show halfway, they currently have beautiful careers as artistes signed to DJ Tira’s record label Afrotainment.

What do you think of Vhudi’s exit?
