Celebrated broadcaster Robert Marawa has just signed an important deal with Primedia 947 that would see him bring his Marawa Sports Worldwide to the stable.
Lindile Xoko, the CEO of Primedia Broadcasting, confirmed the new partnership while also expressing her excitement her company was able to pull that off. The deal is exclusive to the network.
There is reason to be excited about the partnership, after all, for Marawa is a notable name in South African sportscasting, and he’s got an impressive resume to boot. In his broadcasting career, he has interviewed several notable figures, including former FIFA president Sepp Blatter and distinguished Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt.
While the deal with Marawa Sports Worldwide has already been signed, the broadcaster himself wouldn’t begin work until February 1, when he would be on the beat from 6 pm to 7 pm, between Monday to Friday.
Interestingly, Robert Marawa himself is just as excited to have struck the deal with Primedia 947, noting in Nd interview that it was both historic and exciting creating a wider reach for fans of his MSW show, especially to residents of Gauteng who have been complaining about being left out.
Well, for Marawa, here comes a new beginning and the future holds something good.
