Snoop Dogg Joins Def Jam Recordings
Snoop Dogg is now part of Def Jam Recordings, and he couldn’t be happier. The celebrated rapper and record label producer is now an executive creative and strategic consultant for Def Jam.
As a strategic consultant, Snoop Dogg will be reporting to the chairman and CEO of Universal Music, Sir Lucian Grainge.
On Snoop Dogg joining the company, Universal Music CEO Sir Lucian Grainge had noted that the company is thrilled Snoop will be coming on board with his deep industry experience, strong relationships and boundless creativity, among others.
On his part, an excited Snoop Dogg had taken to Instagram to inform his over 60.million fans of his new position as well as his role in the company. You can check out his post below.
By the way, Snoop Dogg is one of those saddened by the recent passing of DMX. In a recent video interview, Snoop had relived the good times he had with the rapper who died after a nasty heart attack. The two friends had a Verzuz rap battle before DMX’s passing.
