Ntombi Mzolo is the daughter of Maskandi musicians Bheki Ngcobo (also known by his stage name Ihashi Elimhlophe) and Linah “Ebony” Khama. Ntombi made his acting debut when he was cast as Ndukuzakhe in the Mzanzi Magic period drama series Ifalakhe.
Ntombi Mzolo is a married woman. She married South African filmmaker Sizwe Mzolo in August 2009, and they’ve been together since. It was a good marriage until five years later when she announced she wanted out. “So they asked us to put together a demo. They didn’t even give us any equipment to put it together. So we used a recorder, remember those? Yes, we put in a tape, and we started recording in a little stereo.”
“Our parents sent our demo to a couple of record companies, and one company said they were not sure if there was a market for young guys but were willing to give us a try.”
